Mirror Mi Hype? I dunno...

Mirror Mi is a new doll line, just announced by MGA today.  They launch on their website tomorrow, and theoretically in stores later.  The expected price per doll is 30$.  It is unknown if they come with stands at this time.  No one's done an unboxing video yet, although MGA has distributed PR, so I'm expecting some soon.  MGA hired Darko Dordevic to draw the illustrations for the line, which I love.  I've been a Darko fan for decades, and that means their art isn't AI slop.

It's honestly hard to be hyped when I'm kinda tired right now, but the dolls look pretty.

Day 0: Last minute prep

I was not prepared for DHC this year, in spite of having months of advance notice and a month long delay.  I'm just really glad things are slowing down IRL.  I spent most of the Friday before con trying to catch up.  I cut out and painted Coby and Redd's convention shirts, then left them to dry.

These two Licca dolls arrived last month, but I've been holding off on unboxing them, but seriously, I needed to unbox them so I could decide if I really like Licca dolls and want to buy more.  Spoilers, I love them and wanna buy more.

I know, I haven't unboxed my Licca chan dolls yet, but this was a special occasion and I was too excited to keep them in the box for even a minute.  I make a point of not buying from Mattel Creations unless the release is really truly special, and I deeply believe this one is.  It's been 3 years since my last one.
