Here's two dollies I haven't played with in a long time, but still have, Gabby and Lola! They were the first dolls I talked about on this blog, back in 2011. They are my only Volks Dollfies, and they were discontinued when I got them. I still have the Volks USA membership card that came with them though.
Okay, just when I thought it was a matter of life and death to get Dress to Impress dolls tonight, my dear husband pointed out they aren't really my aesthetic, like, at all, and maybe I've just been desperate to accumulate more dolls to make myself feel better... I got the Royale High fairies on a deep discount, so they're less harm, but the Dress to Impress dolls are full price or more. And maybe, maybe, I need to add a new rule to my doll rules list, maybe saying they shouldn't have rectangular heads.

Coby and Redd got a package today from Etsy. I didn't go too crazy, since I'm trying to stick to a budget this year, but I wanted them to have some nice things that I can't make myself.
I've held out on this girl for a year, but she was clearancing out during the holiday season, so I snagged her on a good deal, and man, I feel guilty, because Spectra is so beautiful, she's worth full price. This is g3 Spectra Vondergeist, and she's hauntingly beautiful, which is perfect for a ghost.
2025 was a very emotional year for me, and it's reflected in my doll purchases. I did some panic buying and some emotional buying. In the spring, I got 4 Shadow High dolls just because I thought it was the end of the world, but the world persisted. I bought Bilby and Stitches to stop myself from buying overpriced Kens on Ebay, then I broke down and bought Coby and Redd. Some things I regret, and I've donated those dolls to thrift shops. I got one of my lifetime grail dolls, Jem! I adore her, no regrets there. I worked on some older dolls, the Equestria Girls, and I'm proud of that, though I wish I finished! I hope to finish them later. And I binge bought every freaking Royale High doll in November and December. Will I regret that later? Maybe, but they were cheap, so it's okay.
So what's the plan for 2026?
I was lowkey starting to hate these two, while working on their pajamas. Made me so mad, but at long last! Their pajamas are done and they have NO RIGHT to be this pretty.
