Mika and Spooka get new bodies! YMY Review

These are Mika and Spooka.  They're my two tinies.  I've had Mika for many years, and got Spooka more recently.  Mika used to be a catgirl.  Spooka is a Wednesday Addams wannabe.  They've both had Obitsu brand 11cm bodies, which I've struggled with.  Their hands, feet, and arms pop off when you're dressing or posing them.  Because of this, I've had to be very careful with them and not take them on fun adventures.

Rainbow Brite Unboxing

She arrived today!  This is the newest Rainbow Brite doll.  She's 13cm tall, and really well articulated, and super cute!  The packaging is delightfully retro with original artwork from the 80s.

The Return of Dollies & Stitches

After a 2 year hiatus, I have returned to the dolly fandom.  I went a little crazy with the Hujoos and burned out for a while there, in addition to real life stuff.  But now I'm back!  And I bring with me a beautiful 60cm Obitsu named Amiga.

  

There she is hanging out with some My Little Pony stuff.  Yes, I'm a Brony, or Pegasister.  Her first outfit is, of course, made with socks.  Today I will take her to the fabric store to choose the materials for her first outfit.

Profile: Sharlindra

Sharlindra is doll number five, and she is a counterpart to Jouselle.  She is my husband's paladin, who protects Jouselle in Azeroth.  She's an Obitsu as well, but in a different skin tone and a different head.  I like that they don't look identical.  Sharlindra's ears are made out of the same Sculpey and painted to match the fleshtone color.  She doesn't have any good clothing yet, but I have big plans!  I got her this Christmas (2011), so she shares Jouselle's birthday.  Like my husband, she enjoys combat and hates stupid people who don't follow directions.
