Friends Forever Club Dolls series 1 Fashion Packs

 

What I've always dreamed of, a doll line with fashion packs that wasn't Barbie.  Are they a cringy disaster? Absolutely.  I knew they were bad too, before I got them.  But I want these dollar store dolls to succeed, so I sunk a little more money into them.  A toy reviewer theorized the dolls were sold at a loss so they could sell fashion packs at a profit.  And if the dolls don't turn a profit, they'll be discontinued.  So I bought bad fashion packs on purpose.

Dollar Tree Exclusive: Friends Forever Club Dolls

I saw bits and pieces about this doll line a few months ago, but it was a dollar store line, so I paid it no mind.  However, now that my financial situation has changed, dollar store finds have become a lot more appealing.  These are called the Friends Forever Club, however they don't appear to be associated with the anti-bullying organization of the same name.

Today, my October doll arrived.  Since I can only get one doll per month right now, she's my October doll.  She's not in her factory packaging, because I bought her second hand on Ebay, but I got her from another collector, so she seemed in really good shape.

These two desperately needed some attention, and my bipolar ass is back on Rainbow High.  Rainbow High dolls are so beautiful.  When I'm not obsessing over Rainbow High dolls, I'm trying to fill the void Rainbow High leaves with fucking anything doll-like.

Chatter: From a strong current, to a trickle.

Last time I had one of these long, wordy entries, I had finished collecting everyone I wanted from the Monster High cast and was wondering where to go from there.  At that point, I'd decided to work on FailFix and BFFs, and  I then proceeded to buy every FailFix doll in rapid succession.  I went a little crazy, and ordered every character I wanted and all their pets.  I unboxed most of them, some of their pets are still in the packaging.  The reason I binged was because I was anticipating my husband's layoff and wanted to stock up on dolls when the going was good.  (I also stashed a lot of money in savings, don't worry!)

Bet'cha didn't expect to see these weirdos again, did'ja?  Randomly, for no reason at all, I took them out of their box, finished sewing Jenna's summer outfit, and took some new photos.

This is the last Failfix doll I got, SlayItDJ.  Her pics have been sitting in my phone for 2 months, waiting to be uploaded, 3 months?  I dunno.
