Unboxing: Lala and Ella from BFF

Here's my last unboxing for dolls I got for Christmas.  Ella and Lala from Cry Babies BFF.  These will prolly be the last BFF dolls I'm getting.  I now have 6, and the next series might not have stands.  I dunno, we'll see.  Series 3 was previewed half a year ago, and there's been no sign of them.  I'm not pressed.

Christmas Unboxing: Phoebe & Jassy from Crybabies BFF

Merry Christmas!  I'm celebrating today with a double unboxing!  I got more than two dolls for Christmas, but I wanted to space them out, so the next couple will be in a few weeks.

Stitches: Jenna and Katie's Pajamas

I spent most of my free productive time last week working on these pajamas for Jenna and Katie.  I drafted the patterns, I cut out and sewed the garments, then I painted cute designs on the front with fabric paint. I intend to also sew bathrobes and fuzzy socks, but we'll see how it goes.  I'm very pleased with the painting.  It doesn't look professional, but it looks personal.  Now I want to make jammies like this for all my dolls.  I have a lot of dolls, and more dolls incoming, so we'll see how it goes.

BFF Jenna finally gets a summer outfit, I know it's late, I'm playing catch up...

Bet'cha didn't expect to see these weirdos again, did'ja?  Randomly, for no reason at all, I took them out of their box, finished sewing Jenna's summer outfit, and took some new photos.

Stitches: Katie's Summer Outfit

 Today, I finished BFF Katie's summer outfit.  It's a t-shirt and shorts, using the same patterns as Jenna's outfit, but everything's shorter.  These dolls are super cute, and I'm mad crazy inspired.  Sadly, they don't get very many likes on social media.  This doll line is not popular at all.  In fact, I fear it may not make a third series.  But it got a series 2, which means series 1 sold at least well enough to warrant making more.  I really like this line, and I'm itching to buy more.

Stitches: BFF Jenna's first outfit

 I drafted some sewing patterns the day I got Jenna, and it was important to me to test them out ASAP.  I'm glad I bought a bunch of pastel knits I was planning to sew for other dolls, because they go perfectly with the BFF's color palettes.  Most of them are in pastels.  I made two patterns, a top/dress pattern, and a legging pattern.  Both fit pretty perfectly.

I got another one.  Well, I ordered 2 and this one arrived a day later, this is BFF Katie.

I tried to go until my birthday without buying a new doll, but clearly it can't be done.  I've been eyeing these BFF dolls since they were showcased at a toy show last year, and currently series 1 is super cheap, so I ordered this Jenna doll to test them out.
