Stitches, Monster High Prototype Outfit

 I know this is just one picture and it's pretty boring, but this is like a week's worth of work, measuring the dolls, drafting the patterns, cutting out the pieces, and hand-sewing the pink leggings and black dress you see on Ghoulia.  I wish I'd done the dress in gray, so it'd be easier to see than black, but oh well.  I need to adjust the patterns a bit, but they work hella good.  

Monster High Cleo (and Frankie)

I unboxed Cleo today, and immediately took Clankie pics.  Clankie is the Cleo and Frankie ship.  I did not come up with it.  It's canon.  No complaints.

Monster High Ghoulia

 

I've always wanted a g1 Ghoulia.  She was a character that spoke to me as a zombie and a nerd.  I'm so glad she's back with g3.  She looks super cute and super nerdy!  G3 is just making all my dreams come true, you know?

Monster High Binge

 

I went a little crazy and have a lot more Monster High dolls now.  They are readily available and low price right now, so why not?  I've paid 17$ for each, aside from Twyla, who was a gift.

Twyla from Monster High

 This is the other doll I got for my birthday.  It's Twyla from Monster High g3, a gift from my sister.  I've always wanted a g1 Twyla, but never got one, but this g3 version is very sweet looking.

Stitches: Katie's Summer Outfit

 Today, I finished BFF Katie's summer outfit.  It's a t-shirt and shorts, using the same patterns as Jenna's outfit, but everything's shorter.  These dolls are super cute, and I'm mad crazy inspired.  Sadly, they don't get very many likes on social media.  This doll line is not popular at all.  In fact, I fear it may not make a third series.  But it got a series 2, which means series 1 sold at least well enough to warrant making more.  I really like this line, and I'm itching to buy more.

Stitches: BFF Jenna's first outfit

 I drafted some sewing patterns the day I got Jenna, and it was important to me to test them out ASAP.  I'm glad I bought a bunch of pastel knits I was planning to sew for other dolls, because they go perfectly with the BFF's color palettes.  Most of them are in pastels.  I made two patterns, a top/dress pattern, and a legging pattern.  Both fit pretty perfectly.
