Okay, just when I thought it was a matter of life and death to get Dress to Impress dolls tonight, my dear husband pointed out they aren't really my aesthetic, like, at all, and maybe I've just been desperate to accumulate more dolls to make myself feel better... I got the Royale High fairies on a deep discount, so they're less harm, but the Dress to Impress dolls are full price or more. And maybe, maybe, I need to add a new rule to my doll rules list, maybe saying they shouldn't have rectangular heads.
I currently own 7 rectangle headed fairy dolls. Currently only 4 of them are unboxed. And they're very colorful and their face designs are interesting, but I have to acknowledge they have completely flat faces, no noses, no eye wells, nothing. These dolls can't kiss. I love making my dolls kiss, and they literally can't. If I try, all I can do is rub their faces together.
Also, I have 7, that's an uneven number, meaning either one doll is solo or 3 dolls are polyamorous. My brain functions monogamously, so I don't know if I can feel okay with a threesome. I already have to deal with some threesomes in my doll collection because shit doesn't always work out, but I don't like them as much as couples.
Also, the Dress to Impress dolls aren't even either. There's 3 out so far, expected to be 5 later. An odd number of dolls with rectangular heads. I think they have noses, but still, I need to stop reaching for dolls with rectangular heads! That's not my aesthetic! I prefer round heads, or normal ones at least. I don't even play on Roblox! I have never made a Roblox account, because it's full of kids and I don't want to socialize around children because they make me uncomfortable, so why am I buying their dolls?
I have a LOT of dolls already, that I really love. Why am I so desperate for more? Because I can't really see the ones I love and care about because I don't have a doll room. Fucking hell.
I have some stuff to think about.
