New month, new budget to blow, and more treats for my two favorites, Coby and Redd. I ordered from two different Etsy shops this time, getting them merfolk tails, swimwear, and some simple suits.
Starting with the swimwear. It's a little snug and a little short, but Redd looks really good, so I don't care. The man could pull off a speedo if he wanted.
Coby's swimsuit is a better length, I realy like it. I do want to get him a t-shirt though, because he doesn't strike me as a guy who likes to go shirtless, even at the beach. These mermaid tails are kinda difficult to photograph, because the fins are massive. I like it though. The snakeskin pattern on the fabric really lends itself to the mermaid illusion.Coby's tail is very beautiful too. I should have posed him better. This was a challenging photoshoot!Today, their suits arrived! And I'm not in love with them, but I confess, I'm a bit of a suit snob. I'm hoping they grow on me.
If I'm gonna nitpick, I wish the coat was a little looser and the pants were more tailored, but I might be able to help the pants if I iron them correctly, because they are ironed the wrong way. The clothes are nicely made though, and the colors do suit them.Yeah, I think if I get a small low heat iron, I can fix the shape of the pants and the sleeves to look more realistic. I do wish the shirt sleeves were longer, but they got caught in the coat sleeves anyways.
