Shanelle Onyx and Natasha Zima are two dolls I got last Christmas, but never took photos of before now. I regret not capturing their unboxings, but at long last, they get a photo shoot.
These are the only two Shadow High doll I own. I regret not getting more from series 1 when it first came out, but I had mixed feelings about Shadow High at the time. I really wanted these two though, because I found their designs really striking. Both are fan favorites and possibly the most popular from series 1.
Yes, I ship them, but not just because of the visually striking contrast. In the early episodes of Rainbow High season 3, I caught them having kinda needy tsundere moments. The Shadow High cast frequently bullied each other, so it's not exactly a healthy relationship, but Natasha stuck up for Shanelle, even though it got her scolded.
Natasha is a beautiful doll. She's almost entirely white and many people have compared her to a ghost.
Her hair is processed to remain wavy, so it's stiffer than most dolls hair, but it looks very nice.
Both dolls were very difficult to photograph, you'll have to forgive me. I did my best. Shanelle is every bit as striking as Natasha, and I love the white and gray streak in her otherwise perfectly black hair.
