2026 Dolly Goals update 5

I think I'm really close to completing my fashion doll collection.  I have almost 150 dolls, and I feel like I'm hitting all my checkboxes, for fairies, mermaids, monsters, etc.  I do want a couple more Kpop Demon Hunters boy dolls, but other than that, I don't think I want any more new dolls.  I know, famous last words, but I feel like I have enough, you know?

I'm so far removed from my dolly goals this year, I'm not sure I should even try to comment on them.  I got a lot done in the first half of the year, but the second half has really been devoted to my drawn art instead.  I did draft some Monster High g1 patterns, but only because I'm sewing my sister some doll clothes for Christmas.

Yeah, I'm already thinking about next year, even though there's still 2 months of this one.  I feel like I need to switch gears because my priorities have changed.  Rather than shopping for new dolls, I want to focus on my backlog of unfinished customs.  Most of my newer boys need faces or hair, or both.  I got newer bodies for Bilby, Stitches, Lucas, and Shadow.  Plus Coby and Redd still need new hair.  And I have a bunch of Equestria Girls customs to finish, and one Monster High g3 custom not even started.  I have 12 customs to do in all, and I figure why wait until the new year to start them?

So my goals for November are to sew my sister doll clothes for Christmas, and work on one of my customs.  I think I'll start with Coby, because he's my favorite, and he just needs a hair repaint.

My database is on hold.  I just don't wanna work on it, when I have so many customs to work on.  I'll have to change all their entries anyways.  My pattern drafting push is also on hold, unless I actually need something.  I really hate doing it when I don't have a project in mind to incentivize me.  I don't have to be mindful of buying dolls if I stop entirely.  My requirements are so strict at this point, nothing new passes anymore, lol.

As far as collecting goals, my plan for next year is to collect g3 My Little Pony toys instead.  My doll budget will be split up between buying one pony per month and buying whatever supplies I need to finish my customs.
