Unboxing: Naturalistas Liya

This is Liya, my first Naturalista.  I've been waiting for the Naturalistas line to make more articulated bodies, and as of their third release, they now have 11 points of articulation, including knees, elbows, and wrists.  My first choice was Liya, because she has a purple outfit and purple lipstick.

It appears she has a pretty even face.  Her eyes are even and her screening is nice and sharp.  I do wish her eyes were a bit bigger, but I'm not going to attempt a repaint right now.

Here is Liya's backstory.  She's an adult with a degree in Fine Arts, but majoring in drama?  Does that make her a theatre major?  If she studied to be an actress, why is she a model then?  I have questions, but the doll can't answer, and it appears this doll line doesn't currently have a functioning website.

Here is a pic of the full lineup.  Sorry, it's hard to see.  It's very small.  Every doll is dark skinned, with textured hair, and they all have hoop earrings,

Here is a picture of Liya on her back card, without the glare.  She's wearing a sparkly, plum exercise set, and has matching plum sneakers.

Her face is much easier to see now.  She has hazel eyes.

Here she is, finally unboxed.  She can stand on her own for a minute, but really needs a stand.  Her hair goes all the way down past her waist.  It's very thick and well rooted, but all kinda sticks together, so you can't brush your fingers through it.  I'll have to look up some tutorials.

Uh, yeah, welcome to the family, Liya!
