2025 December Recap

Normally I would just go through my list of goals from January, but I wanted to put this front and center.

I photographed and documented 59 dolls this year.

I designed and hand sewed 25 doll garments this year.

That's freaking incredible to me!  I never feel like I get enough done, but counting it all up, it's a lot!

Did I control my doll buying?  No.  No, I did not.  However, considering the stress I've been under, I'm willing to give myself a pass.  I think what I need to do is STOP saying I won't buy any more dolls, because every time, EVERY TIME I do that, I buy more dolls immediately after.  I think if I leave myself open to buy more dolls later, I'll feel less pressure to buy more dolls in the moment.  I dunno, maybe I should talk to my therapist about this.  Who knows?

I was very busy with doll-adjacent activities this year too.  I drew many fan art of dolls, and watched several doll movies.  I deserve credit for this.  I've been a very active doll hobbyist this year.  I even attended a few virtual doll meetups!  I have worked incredibly hard.
