Presenting: My two overpriced Ken dolls

I got two more dolls this month.  No unboxings, because they came second hand and nude, so there wasn't much to show.  The one on the left is named Coby and the one on the right is named Redd.  I paid an unreasonable amount for them on Ebay, and I'm actually in a little trouble with my husband for it, but that's another story.

These dolls were bought to represent characters I've been writing about for 3 or so years, two OCs I made up, that have taken a life all their own in my head.  Two single dads who decided to combat their loneliness together and yeah...  I did take a little inspiration from men in my real life, but they don't need to know that, because I make these two kiss, and the people that inspired them might not be okay with that.  So this is Coby.  He's mild mannered, hard working, quiet, and enjoys quiet things, but also being around louder people sometimes too.

This is Redd.  I'm currently trying to dye his hair red, but it's not working, so me may just end up blonde...  He is friendly, excitable, confident, and passionate.  He fell hard and fast for Coby, and is enjoying coaxing Coby out of his shell little by little.  He may appear to be the more masculine of the two, but he doesn't treat Coby as anything less than because of it, and makes an effort to try Coby's quieter hobbies sometimes.  I want to paint a beard on him, and apply some tattoos, but we'll see.  The doll is honestly so pretty, I'm afraid to change too much.
