Why are they so fucking expensive? When Jem released in February, she was only 25$, and she was in Walmart! I bought her in person, and didn't have to pay shipping. Why the hell are these almost double?
I ordered them anyways, they are my grail dolls. And I already have Jem, she needs her bandmates. But I'm never buying another Loyal Subjects doll after this. This is the end! No more Jem. No more Rainbow Brite either. I'm done with them.
Well, here they are, Jem's band, the Holograms. Kimber, Shana, and Aja. I can't NOT get them, since Jem and the Holograms were my lifelong grail dolls. At least it's cheaper than the Integrity Toys dolls.
Kimber looks good. Her hair needs to be fixed the same way I fixed Jem's hair, but they're sisters, so yeah. The outfits look pretty accurate, and I like the instruments too.
I also appreciate that Shana's hair is accurately textured, not sure if the 80's ones were accurate. And the hands are sculpted to be playing the instruments.
So yeah, I preordered these girls, all three. Can't have Jem without her band, at least. There goes my doll budget for 3 months.
