Unboxing: Magic Mixies Pixie Supreme, Skylar

Unboxing Magic Mixies toys are supposed to be an experience, and this Pixie Supreme sure counts as an experience.  Here's the Moose Toys box she comes in.

Here's the box art, on a piece of cardboard inside the box.  It is very pretty.  Not sure if I'll keep it, it's kinda huge.

Here's the gigantic mirror with a doll inside.  It's large and heavy.  Also, it made keeping myself out of the pictures significantly harder than usual.  After realizing I couldn't just dismantle the thing and get the doll out, I decided to do the unboxing properly.

When you put in 3 batteries and start it up, an animated version of her face appears and she starts talking very loudly, repeating herself every time before she lets you continue.  Her voice may haunt my nightmares.

Here's step one of the potion.  Dropping a small piece of paper with butterfly wings printed on it into the water.  I used tap water.  I'm not sure if it mattered.

The second half of the potion is a small bath bomb with a plastic moon crystal inside.  I've seen some people complain from the smell of this step, but I didn't notice anything.  Of course, I kept my distance and didn't SNIFF it.

Here's Skylar fresh out of the box.  Granted, this part wasn't easy either.  She's firmly in there, and it took several minutes of cutting and prying to get her out.  Fortunately, I didn't cut her dress or hair, but yeah, this part kinda sucked.

Here's Skylar standing in the display without all the plastic.  She's really really pretty.  I love Magic Mixies Pixlings faces, and this one is even better.  Her hair is a bit poofy, so I give her a hot rinse to make it go down after this.  The dress is cheap, but effective and fun to look at.

See what I mean about the face?  So beautiful.  Gorgeous eyes, delicate mouth, perfect eyebrows, a hint of shimmer in her plastic.  She was worth getting.  Her wings don't come off, so I'll have to accommodate for them when making her clothes.  She looks amazing though, I'm really happy to have her.  Now I know for certain I need to get Luna and put them together.
