Since the real world has turned on it's head, I heavily considered unceremoniously dumping all my goals for 2025 into a dumpster to just focus on baseline survival, but things are going better than I expected, so I'm getting back on the saddle, as it were.
1. Documentation. I've started documenting my doll collection in 2 places, a new blog, and Memoa.app. Memoa is cute, but I don't see myself working with it long term. I'll prolly finish my doll database on Blogger instead. Blogger doesn't get any traffic, but it's free, and I'm used to it. I've been using blogger for like 15 years? So yeah. I haven't gotten very far on my documenting project, I'll admit, but I'm ready to get started again. I'm off to a good start, my database has 3 brands in it so far, that's not bad.
2. Doll Sewing. I made two doll outfits for Skyla and Luna in January, and I sewed Shadow a new outfit in February. I haven't been pushing myself too hard, but I've actually done better than I realized. Go me. I'm thinking about going on a Monster High bender, because I have a lot of Monster High dolls, and I've only sewn one summer outfit for Clawdeen, 2 years ago, don't even think I finished it.
3. Controlled Doll Buying. Pixlings aside, I bought Luna and Skyla in January, and Jem/Jerrica in February. That's it. And my doll wishlist is pretty much empty. My only active doll line right now is Monster High, and I already have all the characters I want. I'm keeping an eye out for Loyal Subjects Rainbow Brite and Jem and the Holograms releases, but Loyal Subjects is slow as shit, so I have everything they've released so far and it could be half a year until they release more.
Final thoughts, I'm actually doing better than I anticipated. Yay me.
