Jouselle is my third doll. She was inspired by my World of Warcraft character, a blood elf mage. Like the first two, she's been through some revisions, including 3 heads total. The first head
had eyeholes and was bald. I was going to use bright diodes to have glowing eyes, but that didn't fit. I also couldn't find a wig that had just the right color. I'd also broken the neckpiece. :( Then, I got a new plan. I bought a new neck and a blank bald head that I would paint the face on and root the hair myself. I found the right color rooting hair and got started right away. A few months later, I was so irritated that the head was still half bald and the task was a pain, that I threw it out. I settled for black and bought a pre-rooted head. That's the one she has now.
Her ears are made out of Primo Sculpey clay and held on with E-6000 glue. This glue is great. It's like hot-glue without the hot part. And I haven't lost an ear yet.
Having gone through multiple heads, her personality didn't really lock down until her final head and face-up. She's a very regal doll. She's proud, but not arrogant. She's also feminine and ladylike. Her birthday is December 25th, 2010.
