This is a plush of an onigiri, or rice ball. I'm not as pleased with this one, as it is lopsided, but it was a learning experience, and I'm making these to learn. It's still cute, lopsided aside. It's also very large, if I make another of these, I'll prolly scale it down.
I'm a little burned out on doll shit right now, so I've started making plushies. It's nice to keep sewing and do something completely different at the same time. This is a green tea mochi ball, using a ball pattern, some apparel fabric, and fabric paint for the face. Yeah, I did that freehand. I'm pretty pleased with it. I'd say it took me 3 hours total, from cutting fabric to painting on the face. It was a great way to spend my Sunday.
Welp, I did a thing, the beginning of this month. I binge-bought an entire line of dolls in one go. Equestria Girls, Classic edition, by Hasbro. I don't remember if I ever shared them here, but I used to have a Pinkie Pie and a Fluttershy, but I parted with them in January during the GREAT PURGE. I regretted letting them go, and I'm on a MASSIVE My Little Pony kick, so I rebought the ones I donated, and completed the line too.
Here's Rarity and Applejack, the first two to arrive, last week!
